On Monday, I left for Tampa, Florida to attend the Large Church Initiative at Hyde Park UMC. It was a blessed time of worship, instruction, networking, and fellowship! It was great getting to meet many people from across the country who share similar passions in ministry within The United Methodist Church. I even had the opportunity to stop by the beach. It was great spending time with one of my former parishioners and now a UM Pastor, Dave Pogany. He is a dear friend and I am so thankful for the calling God has placed on his heart.
I got back home late Thursday night and immediately began packing for our Confirmation retreat to Jumonville. It also was a great time away leading and discussing some incredibly profound topics with some resilient youth. I love those moments where they "get it!" They're a special group. I placed some pictures in this blog post to show of the variety of my week of ministry. I love what God has called me to do!
